FIANCE(E) VISAS

Fiancé(e) Visas

The K-visa categories are for a fiancé/fiancée of a U.S. citizen and their accompanying children, or for a U.S. citizen’s spouse and accompanying children. The K-1 visa allows the U.S. citizen’s fiancé(e) to come to the United States to marry. The couple must intend to marry within 90 days after the foreign fiancé(e) enters the United States. Our attorneys will evaluate your case, prepare the necessary paperwork, and provide a realistic expectation of the current processing times. Unnecessary delays in the process are avoided by having an experienced attorney make sure that no mistakes are made and that all forms and documents are submitted correctly. After an approval of the K visa and entry, we will advise further about the next steps necessary to file for adjustment of status and ultimately obtain legal permanent residence.
